We’re excited to announce the general availability of Hetzner Load Balancer auto-provisioning for all Cloudfleet Kubernetes Engine (CFKE) users. This feature enables seamless, automated provisioning of Hetzner Load Balancers for your services across multi-region, multi-cloud environments.
Hetzner Load Balancer enables horizontal application scaling by automatically distributing traffic across your infrastructure.
The Hetzner Cloud Load Balancer delivers high availability, performance, and security. Hetzner automatically manages load balancers to ensure uptime and reliability.
Automatically established health checks ensure traffic is routed only to healthy targets. CFKE nodes stay in the private network to improve security by integrating load balancers with Hetzner Cloud Networks. Fast (re)configuration enables quick setup and near-instant application of changes.
Kubernetes load balancing across different cloud providers and regions
Building on the standard Kubernetes Services implementation, CFKE’s Load Balancer auto-provisioning dynamically provisions and manages TCP Load Balancers across multiple cloud providers and regions. When you create a Service with the LoadBalancer
type, CFKE automatically provisions a load balancer in every cloud provider and region where at least one node exists. This ensures that traffic is served efficiently from all locations where the customer’s workload operates.
With the latest integration of Hetzner Load Balancer, CFKE now supports auto-provisioning of Load Balancers in Hetzner Cloud. This feature is available to all CFKE users, enabling seamless use of Hetzner Load Balancers in multi-region, multi-cloud environments.
